Operating guidance

Procedures

Follow the sequence and stop when identity, authorization, target, or result differs from the article.

Procedure 1

Register and verify the mailbox

Use one identity and complete the verification link without exposing its token.

  1. 1
    Open Registration

Start from the Vianordis registration landing page and choose the registration form.

  2. 2
    Enter the required identity

Provide first name, last name, email, optional organization and address, and accept the presented terms after review.

  3. 3
    Submit once

Resolve inline validation before submission and wait for the success message; repeated requests may be rate-limited.

  4. 4
    Open the verification email

Confirm the sender and Vianordis destination, then open the link in the same trusted browser context where possible.

  5. 5
    Allow verification to complete

The page removes the token from the visible URL, verifies it server-side, and redirects to onboarding when valid.

  6. 6
    Continue promptly

Use the onboarding handoff before the registration token expires and do not forward the link.

Expected result

The email address is verified and the browser continues to the token-gated onboarding workflow without leaving the verification token in history.

Operating rules

Security and data handling

  • Use only the identity, tenant, role, and data scope approved for the task.
  • Verify targets and expected effects before saving, sending, publishing, exporting, deleting, or approving.
  • Keep secrets and regulated data out of screenshots, URLs, free-text diagnostics, and ordinary support messages.
  • Use an email address controlled by the intended account holder.
  • Verify the destination domain before following the email link.
  • Do not reuse, share, or archive verification and onboarding tokens.
Verified scope

Known limitations

  • Successful email verification does not mean the organization, tenant, licences, or administrator have been provisioned.
  • Registration supports the fields and languages exposed by the current form; organization onboarding collects additional information.
Problem solving

Troubleshooting

You cannot open Vianordis Registration

Likely cause: The session expired, the account is not entitled, or the required tenant or role claim is missing.

  1. Open the service through the approved Vianordis entry point and sign in again.
  2. Confirm the intended organization, tenant, and account are in use.
  3. If access remains denied, record the time and request an entitlement check; do not attempt direct-URL bypasses.

A documented control or navigation item is not visible

Likely cause: The current role, subscription, tenant configuration, release status, or feature flag does not expose it.

  1. Confirm the audience, role, prerequisites, and limitations in this article.
  2. Refresh after a new sign-in and verify the correct tenant context.
  3. Ask the responsible administrator whether the capability is enabled before reporting a defect.

A saved change or background result is not visible

Likely cause: Validation failed, processing is incomplete, the view is stale, or the feature is locally simulated rather than persisted.

  1. Review inline validation, status indicators, filters, and the selected tenant or workspace.
  2. Refresh once and search by a stable identifier before repeating the action.
  3. Do not repeat irreversible or externally visible actions until the first operation's state is known.

The verification email does not arrive

Likely cause: Address error, spam filtering, mail delay, rate limit, or delivery failure occurred.

  1. Confirm the masked address shown after submission and check spam or quarantine.
  2. Wait for the resend countdown and use Resend once.
  3. If delivery still fails, contact support with time, domain, and masked address—not the token.
Provenance
